SASKIA MARKA

THE NEW ANALOG

Form emerges through chance and texture. Artefacts become material.

Profile

My work explores how digital images can behave like material.

I create process-driven, non-generative images shaped by texture, imperfection, and emotional presence.

Developed through intuition, instability, and chance, the works allow forms and structures to emerge over time rather than follow fixed narratives.

With a background in visual and conceptual title design, I explore how rhythm and structure translate into abstract image systems — where color and form are not constructed, but emerge.

Individual frames retain visual autonomy, while their temporal arrangement forms a sustained perceptual field.

Notes

Instability is not a failure.

It is a condition we recognize.

Under pressure,
perception shifts.

What becomes visible under pressure
often feels unfamiliar.

I work with
          chaos
   until
         it

organizes itself.
